My sister lives next door & I was helping her clean out her large shed made of tin&wood. We bought 3 cans of Bengal Spray for Wasps. After we used 2 cans just 2 days ago.Nothing is killing them for her completely. Is there any home tips that work without being so costly? She got stung today too while cleaning. She is allergic to them.I heard about to treat flies, that you can put water in a bag&hang it.Is there anything for wasps&their nests?
try using the spray and then knock it down, if she ia allergic keep her away from it, and if you knock down the nest they go crazy so be careful.
You could also try a high powered hose to spray and destroy it.
Or call a n exterminator

First, get out the hose and soak the nest. Then run up and knock it down with a baseball bat. That should take care care of them.

We have a lot of wasps where we live and they build nests everywhere. We bought an inexpensive power sprayer and use it about every 3 to 4 weeks to knock down all of the nests. Between that and the wasp spray we get at WalMart it keeps them under control.

Hint-Best to treat the nests early in a.m.(dawn) or late (dusk) in evening. They are still in nest in a.m., have not foraged out for food, etc yet so this lessens your chance of getting stung. Same thing goes for nite time – they are back in their nest and you should not have them returning to the nest which gives them a better chance to sting.
