Any tips on keeping my home smelling clean and fresh?

I own dogs and clean all the time and also burn candles but maybe someone has some other ideas instead of candles and air freshner.

- Potpourri in a crock pot.
- Febreeze.
- Carpet powder.
- Drop some vanilla extract in a pot of water & boil it.
- Sprinkle Coffee grounds onto the carpet and vacuum it up. Coffee grounds are a good, natural deodorizer, often used to help with gasoline spills.
- Oreck Air purifier with a scented insert.

You should burn candles and use air freshener. If you don’t want to you should sell your dogs.

I heard some people put bounce sheets in their drawers!

Also, baking desserts and cooking can always leave a nice smell.

I find the Febreeze or Bath& Body Works plug ins work longer than candles or spray. I also use a vaccuum powder before I vaccuum.

Fresh cut scented flowers work wonders and also Fabreeze if you have ever heard of it. You spray it on curtains and upholstery and micro-capsules capture the odours. Also having windows open as often as possible helps.

a combination of white vinegar and baking soda and water works for me..8 ounces of water with a tablespoon of vinegar and a pinch of baking soda mixed in a spray bottle will clean about anything and get rid of odors…Dont put much baking soda in the mix or you will have to rinse afterwards.
