Lately, I get a temporary sore throat when I use cleaning products?

I just noticed this yesterday as I was cleaning up the kitchen with 409.. Yuck.. And then again when I was scrubbing the tub with a Clorox product…
I even mixed the bottles with water because they seemed too concentrated.. Still got a sore throat though..
This is all so confusing because "Green" products are so expensive.
I noticed that too. The green products are expensive. Well, you know us females, we need for things to be clean and germ free, I suggest going to the drug store and buy those surgical masks to use while cleaning. Something I’m going to start doing, because I already have lung damage, so I’d hate to hear that you develop something like I have.

I read an article at http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/901217/how_to_go_green_and_stay_clean.html?cat=5 that tells you how to clean your home with "green friendly" make at home recipes. Has anyone ever tried any?
yes i regularly cut a lemon in half, add a splash of water into a microwavable plate and heat in m.oven for a min or two, it makes grease easier to remove and leaves ur m.oven smelling clean and fresh.
Would anyone have some very useful tips and information on how to put the breaks on house cleaning?

seems like there is never any life ,out side of the home due to house cleaning is taking over my life! Help….all tips and information greatly wanted here today!! thank you so kindly everyone.
I think you should narrow your time for cleaning to one or two days a week. Try the best you can to do everything (apart for wasshing the dishes of course) in these two dyas/one day. If you can’t, try to spend the week without doing them. I’m sure next time you’ll be faster and finish everything.
I need Green Iguana Help?

i bought a green iguana for biology class today and i was wondering if A 10 gallon tank is good for it and do i have to have the light on 24/7 … my set up is A water dish with lettuce throne in and out of it and the water dish is big enough for the lizard.. I was wonderng also how often to i clean it and feed it… plz give me tips and pointers
A 10 gallon is a no-no…..a hatchling ig cannot be housed in anything smaller than a 55 gallon tank and will outgrow it before it reaches a year old…..
You are also missing the very important UVB/UVA light that is needed for vitamin D3 synthesis and Calcium absorption. And what are you using as a humidity and heat source? Humidity levels need to stay within 65-80 % and iguanas need a basking spot with an optimal temperature of 92-95F, (he cannot digest his food properly if the temps are lower than 88) along with cooler places ranging down to around 75F (for thermoregulation). Also beware of super high temps like 100+…brain damage and literally cooking your ig can result.
The light can be on for about 12 hours….no more (they need a day and night cycle).
I do not mean to throw you under the bus but did you put any thought into this at all? Iguanas are not for inexperienced herp keepers and shouldn’t be purchased by a spur of the moment itch without doing the proper research first.
I discussed the proper diet in your other
question.

Cleaning tips with organization?

Hey, any helpful ideas on how to really keep a good clean house with out having to do it all at once. Like what do other people do to maintain a tidy home? I am so overwhelmed by life, that I feel that I am slipping in my housework.
http://www.flylady.net/
This site has saved my home. I am so bad at keeping up with things and this site really kicked my butt into gear and it’s not like to do it all at once.. start out with every night "shining your sink" meaning put the dishes away and wipe down all your sinks before you go to bed.. that’s how I started and it starts to spread to the counters and stuff because you see how nice it looks. Also take only 15 minutes a day and just go through and put stuff away and throw things out. 15 minutes isn’t long and you will be amazed at how much you get done!!!
Good luck! This really worked for me I am a single mom who works 6 days a week.. so it’s hard for me to just come home and clean.
How to clean riding gloves?

I have a pair of very light pink riding gloves.
Well, they use to be pink.
Now the finger tips are black and there are green spots from horse spit on the palms.
And, it’s really gross.
How should I clean them??
I’ve been washin’ them by hand, but nothing is really happening.
I’ve used oxi-clean and laundry soap, with hot water.
Wash cycle on a temperature that won’t change the size! Air-dry. Also try to use stain remover on the "black tips" before throwing them in the wash. Good luck with that =]

I work full time, go to college full time and have a home to take care of (cook, clean, laundry, etc)..I am feeling overwhelmed with staying organized, keeping my home organized, and getting the energy to do so after my full days..any tips please?
http://www.flylady.com
She sends out daily emails and reminders telling you which steps and routines to follow to keep an uncluttered home. She also has a lot of great information and motivators on how to get organized and stay that way.
The most important thing I’ve learned is to do what you can, when you can. Divide the tasks up into smaller more manageable jobs and chunks of time. It won’t seem so overwhelming that way. It is better to take small steps than to do nothing at all.
Tips for a stay at home mom, meals, cleaning, making a house a home, starting traditions.?

hi, I tried to ask this earlier and everyone seemed to think I was on welfare or something. I am not trying to save money by economizing I just want tips on how to be a middle class stay at home mom. We make 35 percent more than the average income for our town. I was poor growing up and do not know how to balance my time well so I have free time seems like I am always doing something and I would like more family time. my husband goes to work at 5:30 am gets home at 4 pm, kids are in bed by 7:30 to 8. I am a morning person which does help, I have a 2 year old, a 6 mo old pregnant again(I was on b/c with all 3 kids depo with the 2 year old, and pills for the other 2 as I breast feed so i am not ignorant just fertile) and took parenting classes at 3 different places for 2 years and also a cooking class. they told me how to parent but not how to be the spouse at home. I need menu ideas which taste good and dont cost 50 to make or anything, when should I do things?
When do I give kids a bath, take a shower myself do I do specific days for different things? Help me plan a schedule please I am just running ragged. Any time I am not doing household stuff I am playing with my kids but I hate budgeting time for my kids shouldn’t it be the other way around? How do I become a great(not perfect) wife and mother?
I don’t intend to start college till my youngest is in preschool( if we get pregnant again we are doing something permanent but I finally have a doctor who is listening to me when I say I followed the b/c instructions to t and still prego so hopefully we will fix my fertile problem) I want to be the soothing wonderful mom everyones grandmother talks about who did so much right. I want to have family traditions and a loving close knit family.
we own a house and I am working very hard to make it a home any ideas? I know these are weird questions but unless you grew up without a home just a apt and parents who werent really parents its is hard to understand. I crave a home and family and traditions and when I am old I want my kids to still get along
I do know how you feel, sounds pretty close to my childhood. The best advise I can give you is get as much done as you can around the childrens schedule. The baby probably takes a few naps, the 2 year old at least one.Do a chore or what ever each time you have minute, don’t stress yourself, take a nap if you need one,LOL.No one expects you to be perfect.Kids bath’s before bed,it helps them sleep, and they’ll just get dirty again, other wise.Take your shower after they are out for the night,or ask your husband to take over for a few minutes when he gets home.Sorry I can’t help you with the good dinner, still trying to figure that one out for myself!(You want to be a good mom?Relax!)
